This article describes how to share your Treasure Reporting (reporting.treasuredata.com) reports and dashboards with your colleagues.
About Treasure Reporting User Management
User management for Treasure Reporting is separate from user management of the TD Console. The credentials for logging into Treasure Reporting are separate from credentials to login to the TD Console. Users must be invited to Treasure Reporting by the account owner or another current user.
Treasure Reporting manages access control by
Teamis a group of users and clients united to work with the same dashboards, reports, presentations and datasets – which can be administered and billed together. This is useful if you are a company that has many dashboards and need to give others in your company, or your clients, access to the dashboards and data. Team corresponds to Treasure Data’s account, and is automatically created the first time a TD account owner clicked the Reporting button.
Owneris a person who has created the Team, which means Treasure Data’s owner user.
Useris an internal member (colleague, company member) who is invited to the Team.
Groupis a folder that can be created on the Users tabs in order to structure members of the Team.
Invite Your Colleagues to Treasure Reporting
From within Treasure Reporting (reporting.treasuredata.com), navigate to the
Admin page >
Clients menu, and click the big blue plus button at the bottom right corner. The following window appears:
Click the big blue plus button. And:
- Type in the email of the user (which you want to invite).
- Assign a role to user (Client or Client Group Admin).
- Specify which objects the user will be able to create (by default all possible objects are selected).
Click OK when ready. Each user will get an invite email.
Sharing Dashboards with Other Users or Groups
Finally, you can share your dashboards with other users. Select the ellipsis button on the same row as the dashboard that you want to share, select Share & export, and select users or groups you’d like to share.
You can share dashboards, integrations, datasets, and reports.
